Big Takeaway: Apple plans to add Rich Communication Services (RCS) support in 2024 for better iPhone to Android texting.
RCS enables features like read receipts and better media between operating systems. It works over cellular and Wi-Fi unlike SMS/MMS relying just on cellular.
