Here’s everything you need to know:
OpenAI announced a new, more powerful AI model called GPT-4 Turbo. GPT-4 Turbo has a 128K context window (around 100,000 words max per prompt) knowledge through April 2023, and Turbo also adds JSON mode. (Demo video here)
OpenAI is launching “GPT Builder” a platform for building custom chatbots. It allows anyone to build their own GPT using natural languages! (Demo here)
Sam Altman announced they are releasing the ChatGPT Store, an app store for ChatGPT. Users can browse other people's chatbots or share their own.
OpenAI is launching a new Assistants API that makes it easier for developers to build their own assistive AI apps that have goals and can call models and tools. Along with APIs for vision, text-to-speech and DALL-E 3.
OpenAI unveiled Copyright Shield to defend developers against infringement claims. They are also cutting prices on the fees that companies and developers pay to run its software.
They disclosed that it has over 2 million developers building on its APIs "for a wide range of use cases," and 92% of the Fortune 500 companies.
ChatGPT itself gets about 100 million weekly active users 🤯
🚫 Meta shuts down political ad campaigns on their platform
Meta is prohibiting political campaigns and regulated industries from using its new AI-powered ad creation tools over misinformation risks. (Full article here)
💰 Generative AI market set to reach $59 billion by 2028
Report finds, the global market for generative AI is projected to grow from $6bn in 2021 to $59bn in 2028, with fastest growth in the consumer market. (Full article here)
▶️ YouTube launching new generative AI features
YouTube will test new AI features for paid subscribers, including a conversational tool to answer questions and recommend videos. It leverages large language models drawing on YouTube data. (Full article here)
